Privacy Policy

What Data We Collect

• Email address — provided via Google Sign-In, used solely for authentication and account identification.
• User-created content — notes, tutorials, issues, journal entries, media metadata, tags, and comments you create within Depot.
• Anonymous visitor analytics — a long-lived first-party cookie (_reeloo_visitor_id, a random identifier) and page-view events (route + timestamp) so we can count usage and improve the product. Stored on our own infrastructure; never sold or shared.

What We Do NOT Collect

• No IP-based geolocation
• No cross-site tracking
• No third-party advertising or ad-related profiling
• No third-party analytics SDKs (Google Analytics, etc.)
• No data sharing with third parties

How to Opt Out

On your first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Rejectanonymous analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's localStorage (_reeloo_cookie_choice key) — the banner will reappear on your next visit. We also honor the browser Do Not Track signal: with DNT enabled, no analytics events are sent at all.

Retention

Anonymous visitor analytics events are retained for 365 days and then deleted. Account content follows the policy below.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in Turso (US region), a managed SQLite-compatible database. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS). Backups are maintained for disaster recovery.

Data Retention

Your content is kept for as long as your account exists. You may delete individual items at any time. Deleting your account removes all associated data permanently.

Your Rights

• Export — download all your data as JSON at any time
• Delete — request full account deletion, which removes all your data
• Update — modify your profile and content freely
